Medicaid Cuts ‘Likely’ from Republican Budget
Next week, the Republican majority in the House of Representatives plans to hold a vote on a their budget resolution, “which will likely lead to substantial cuts to Medicaid,” as a nonpartisan news service described it.
And this week, President Trump endorsed it, just hours after promising “Medicare, Medicaid — none of that stuff is going to be touched.” The Republican budget also calls for $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, favoring the richest and big corporations. I will be voting NO if this legislation comes up for a vote in the House.
