There is an exciting opportunity to join coalition partners and advocate for community solar on March 20th.
Community solar is on the move in Harrisburg, and if passed, it’ll expand access to clean energy to everyone, including renters and those who otherwise couldn’t afford to install solar.
We and the rest of the OurSolarPa coalition are holding a virtual rally and kickoff in the morning, followed by opportunities to take action throughout the day.
The community solar bill that we’ve been working on will be reintroduced soon. It will include added consumer protections, and guaranteed savings to help subscribers with rising utility bills. It also will include support for other forms of community energy.
We need to build momentum and make noise in support, which is why we’re planning this day of action. Will you join us, and help show that community solar is a winning idea in every corner of the state? We’ll have 4 power hours to lead actions such as emailing our reps, calling our electeds, and writing letters.
The virtual event kickoff starts at 10 and the power hours start at noon. When you RSVP, you will receive a link that is good for the entire day of action. Feel free to join as you are able.
