From Solar Neighbors United PA: If someone offered you $156 million, you’d say yes – right? That’s what’s happening right now in Pennsylvania. The national Solar for All program has earmarked $156 million for expanding solar access in the commonwealth. But no one can use that money until lawmakers give the go-ahead. And time is running out. Please: tell lawmakers: Use solar funding with this quick link. If lawmakers enable the use of these funds, more than 12,500 income-limited families across Pennsylvania would gain access to the cost-saving benefits of solar energy. The Solar for All program would be implemented with existing funds – there wouldn’t be any new costs to taxpayers or utility customers. Growth in solar adoption across our state would mean more jobs, stronger local economies, and a more resilient electric grid. If lawmakers DON’T enable the use of these funds by September 1, Pennsylvanians will lose them forever. That’s why your voice matters. Tell lawmakers you want to see our state benefit from the Solar for All program – not let these funds go to waste. As always, thanks for your solar support. ![]() Monica Carey Pennsylvania Program Director Solar United Neighbors Action |
