Action in a Time of Anxiety (Clean Energy for All Webinar – PA Sierra Club)

April 1 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

From the PA Sierra Club:

This is a critical and extraordinarily challenging moment in our history. While we know we must come together to defend our communities and planet, we’re also experiencing heightened emotions of anxiety, grief, and despair about climate change that can feel debilitating. Being bombarded daily with the awful news coming out of the White House only adds to a sense that maybe our efforts are fruitless, that maybe there isn’t any hope that we can make a difference.

At Sierra Club Pennsylvania, we want you to know that you’re not alone in the struggle to navigate these difficult emotions. We’re turning to experts to help us understand and honor our feelings, and learning how to turn our anxiety into action, our grief into love, and our despair into a hope grounded in reality and guided by our values.

We invite you to join us on this journey! In a very special episode of the Clean Energy for All series, we’ll hear first from eco social worker Bailey Fullwiler about navigating the mental health impacts of climate injustice and environmental trauma. Then, Sierra Club PA staff will share how they are working through their complex emotions to continue fighting for a better world.

Let’s kick-off Earth Month by being in community, coming together at a time when so many seek to drive us apart.

Sign up here.
