May 27: Time to Stand Up Mass Meeting – Vine Memorial, 56th Street & Girard (Neighborhood Networks(

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 27th at 6PM at Vine Memorial Baptist Church located at 56th Street & Girard Ave.

Travel & Parking: There is a parking lot next to the church and spaces on the street surrounding it. There is also public transportation – Route 15 bus stops in front of the church.

This event will cover some of the most critical topics for our community:

• Fighting against Tax Cuts that only benefit the wealthy to the detriment of the rest of us
• What to expect with Medicaid funding
• How we will address cuts to the SNAP program
• The latest on Know Your Rights & Immigration
• The Housing crunch and what to do about it
• What we can do about supporting our Public Education
• Attacks on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We will be joined by local elected officials and community leaders and organizers as we make a plan to move forward together to fight back against the fascists from the Trump/Musk regime.

Food will be served and there will be a food giveaway at the start of the program.
