In 2021, New Jersey passed a law banning ALL immigrant detention in the Garden State. Since then, it’s been challenged by private prison company CoreCivic and overturned. But New Jersey fought back and appealed. Now, the oral arguments for that appeal have finally been scheduled for May 1st at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia.

We will maintain a presence in Philadelphia outside the courthouse all day. Sign up to RSVP and to receive updates about specifics for the day.
