New Sanctuary Movement: Clergy Action at ICE April 3

ALERT
We Define the Sacred:

Clergy Action to Defend Sensitive Locations
Thursday, April 3 at noon

ICE office
114 N. 8th st
Dear members, friends and supporters,

The first hearing for the 2nd lawsuit challenging Trump’s rescission of the Sensitive Locations memo will begin the first week of April.

On April 3rd, clergy and lay people will come together to defend our places of worship.

Our congregations aren’t just safe, they are sacred.  And we are the ones who define those spaces, not Trump.  We also know that the sacred is not confined to a building, but flows out into the world.

So on April 3rd we will bring the sacred to ICE, where we will all help build an altar at the Philly ICE building. This will be a powerful act of faith and we invite you to stand with us.

As Trump attempts to take away every safe space, we as a faith community stand in our moral authority to confront injustice, reclaim our sacred spaces, and lift up the power of transformative love that extends everywhere, even to the ICE office and to ICE agents.

 In peace and solidarity,

The NSM team!
