Volunteer Lobbying Skills Development Opportunities:
- The Briefing: Legislative Updates – Environmental issues can be complicated, and so can our state legislature! That’s why we’re providing a regular briefing for advocates like you. During each 30-minute episode of The Briefing you will hear about what’s happening in Harrisburg and what you can do about it. May 13 at 5:00PM. REGISTER
- Volunteer Lobbying Training will be held immediately after The Briefing – We recognize that it is not always easy to talk to elected officials. It can be downright nerve-wracking! Sierra Club Pennsylvania will provide you with all the tools, training, and support you need to feel comfortable and to effectively communicate your message. May 13 at 5:30PM. REGISTER
- Virtual Climate Action Lobby Day on June 5 brings together environmental organizations across the state for a collaborative lobby day that’s perfect for beginners! Staff handle all of the set-up, including scheduling meetings with your elected officials. REGISTER
