español abajo) On May 5th at 11 AM, we will gather at the Pennsylvania State Capitol to rally for immigrant rights. Together, we can amplify voices that have been silenced, fight against injustice, and show that solidarity is not just a word—it is a force that creates change.
Immigrants throughout the country are facing some of the worst attacks we’ve ever seen. Right-wing extremists’ goal is mass detention and deportation, tearing apart families, attempting to end legal protections like DACA, gutting asylum rights and actively criminalizing immigrant communities. But instead of backing down, we must find strength in community. We must not forget that when fear and division are used as tools for governance, we all lose. Through difficult times, we must organize with neighbors and allies. We need all of us. RSVP today to join us at the state capitol!
Together we will rally at the State Capitol to denounce the attacks on immigrants rights and remind everyone that undocumented people are hard working people and that everyone deserves respect and dignity, no matter who they are, where they were born, or what language they speak. Since it is Cinco de Mayo, we are also encouraging attendees to embrace and celebrate immigrants’ cultural diversity by wearing traditional folk attire to celebrate the contributions of immigrants in our communities.
Immigrants are essential and integral to our community and we/they belong unconditionally!

El 5 de mayo a las 11:00 a. m., nos reuniremos en las escaleras del Capitolio del Estado de Pensilvania para manifestarnos por los derechos de los inmigrantes. Juntos, podemos amplificar las voces silenciadas, luchar contra la injusticia y demostrar que la solidaridad no es solo una palabra— es una fuerza que genera cambio.
Inmigrantes en todo el país se enfrentan a algunos de los peores ataques que jamás hayamos visto en los Estados Unidos. El objetivo de los extremistas de derecha es la detención y deportación masiva, la separación de familias, el intento de eliminar protecciones legales como DACA, la desmantelación del derecho al asilo y la criminalización activa de las comunidades inmigrantes. Pero en lugar de darnos por vencidos, debemos encontrar la fuerza en comunidad. No debemos olvidar que cuando el miedo y la división se utilizan como herramientas para gobernar, todos perdemos. Juntos nos congregaremos en el Capitolio Estatal para denunciar los ataques a los derechos de los inmigrantes y recordarles a todos que las personas indocumentadas son gente trabajadora y que todos merecen respeto y dignidad, sin importar quiénes sean, dónde nacieron o qué idioma hablen.
Dado que es el Cinco de Mayo, también animamos a los asistentes a celebrar la diversidad cultural de los inmigrantes vistiendo atuendos tradicionales para celebrar las contribuciones de los inmigrantes a nuestras comunidades.
