#TeslaTakedown Continues (added locations)

The fight for #Teslatakedown continues. A devaluation of #Tesla stock would defund Elon Musk, and it is already starting to happen. We have to keep the pressure on. It would also send shock waves around corporate America about the power of the people. There were multiple protests around the Philly area at his dealerships are. The #TeslaTakedown team is coordinating more ongoing protests, starting this weekend, searchable here.

(Warminster on March 1, and March 22. March 1: Devon again!) West Chester Mar 1 and 8

Coverage:

Great coverage of #TeslaTakedown by Will Bunch at the Inquirer: “Outside Tesla in the Philadelphia Suburbs, the Green Shoots of an American Uprising”

Rolling Stone: “Getting out into the street, protesting, and making your voice heard matters. An activated citizenry is a primary driver of getting shit done. In nearly every case, it’s the reason we have anything to protect from Elon Musk and his wrecking crew in the first place.”

Hamilton Nolan: “Musk is More Vulnerable than You Think”: “…even by giving Tesla every benefit of the doubt, the company’s stock price is irrationally high. This is well known on Wall Street. Tesla’s stock price—and by extension, the largest part of Elon Musk’s net worth—is almost purely a product of investor sentiment. It is not based so much on the company’s financial performance as on a magical belief that Musk will make it the biggest automaker in the world.”
